Breve história da natureza dos pigmentos foi a instalação que abriu o processo de criação de minha pesquisa de mestrado no Instituto de Artes da Unicamp. A mostra esteve em cartaz de 15/01/2019 a 01/02/2019 na Galeria de Artes do Instituto de Artes (GAIA)
Resumo: Tendo como ponto de partida o uso do processo fotossensível a partir de pigmentos de plantas (Anthotype), surgem aberturas e repercussões que a pesquisa prática suscitou, como por exemplo a convergência com a ciência – mais especificamente com o campo da biologia -, e sua relação com as estruturas celulares das plantas. O trabalho reúne, numa espécie de gabinete de curiosidades, imagens produzidas em um processo fotográfico do século XIX, desenhos de plantas realizados com o uso de câmara lúcida (dispositivo óptico pré-fotográfico para projeção de imagens), lâminas de histologia vegetal e fotografias microscópicas, com o propósito de criar hibridismos, borrar fronteiras entre registros artísticos e científicos ao refletir sobre a impermanência da matéria-prima

Brief history of the nature of pigments was the installation that opened the process of creating my master’s research at the Unicamp Arts Institute. The exhibition was on display from 01/15/2019 to 02/01/2019 at the Art Gallery of the Institute of Arts (GAIA)
Abstract: Having as a starting point the use of a photosensitive process from plant pigments (Anthotype), paths and repercussions appeared that the prac8cal research aroused, such as convergence with science – more specifically with the field of biology – and its relation to the cellular structures of plants. The work includes, in a kind of cabinet of curiosities, images produced in a photographic process of the 19th century, drawings of plants made using a camera lucida (pre-photographic optical device for projection of images), histology slides and microscopic photographs, with the purpose of creating hybridity, to blur boundaries between artistic and scientific records by thinking over the impermanence of the raw material
